Signal or Noise?
A note from our founder, marking three years of Boston Insights and the framework born from a defining moment in clinical supply.
This month marks three years since Boston Insights was founded. This issue revisits the moment that shaped that journey: a 2022 war room, where the challenge was not a lack of data, but the ability to identify which signal truly mattered. Every function reported an anomaly that week - most proved inconsequential, but one had the potential to alter the course of a trial.
The decision before the crisis.
A note from our founder on the war room meeting that changed how we think about clinical supply and why we started Boston Insights.
In early spring 2022, our founder was in a clinical supply war room with a top 10 pharma company, facing urgent questions triggered by the Russia-Ukraine conflict. No one had the answers-not because data didn't exist, but because it was fragmented across multiple systems.
This issue shares that moment, the real problem behind it, and why Boston Insights was founded to connect the signals that exist today-so leaders can act before disruption becomes crisis.
